WELCOME TO THE LAUNCH OF THE VESSEL AT K-U-K!
The Vessel, Norwegian Crafts, and K-U-K invite you to the launch of the eighth edition of *The Vessel*, "Craft in Public Space," at K-U-K on Saturday, 26 October starting at 13:00.

The event begins at K-U-K on Saturday 26 October, at 13:00. Co-editor Marianne Zamecznik will give an introduction to The Vessel 8: ‘Craft in Public Space’*. Artist Erlend Leirdal will present himself and a selection of public art projects he has completed, before we embark on an art walk together to explore several public art projects in Trondheim. More information will follow.

About the edition
In the eighth edition of *The Vessel*, we turn our attention to craft in public spaces. Editors Ida Højgaard Thjømøe and Marianne Zamecznik have invited six contributors to reflect on how craft in public spaces can function as a platform for care, activism, and community through materiality.
‘Craft in Public Space’ contains texts written by Andrea Fjordside Pontoppidan, Drew Snyder, Elin Haugdal, Helene Duckert, Christer Dynna and Yaniya Mikhalina.
