«Heidi-Anett Haugen er billedkunstner og forfatter. Hun jobber med analog kollasj bruker saks og skalpell for å omhyggelig klippe og lime for hånd materiale hentet fra ulike medier – tenk gamle blader, kasserte biblioteksbøker, reklame og avsier. «Jeg ser på kollasj som poesi», sier hun. «En prosess med å føre til og trekke fra materiale for å avdekke en narrativ kjerne». Arbeidene hennes inneholder ofte motiver av mennesker og natur, med en nærmere titt avsløres en veloverveid kompleksitet.»

«I arbeidet mitt utforsker jeg forholdet mellom landskap og menneskekroppen», forklarer hun. «Ved å bruke funnet fotografisk materiale som eldre National Geographic-bilder, lager jeg komposisjoner som avslører skjulte elementer og tilbyr friske perspektiver. Denne prosessen er i tråd med feministiske idealer og utfordrer konvensjonelle fortellinger, samt fremhever sammenhengen mellom landskap og identitet.»

“Heidi-Anett Haugen is a visual artist and author. She works with analog collage, utilizing scissors and a scalpel to meticulously cut and hand-glue material sourced from various print mediums – think old magazines, discarded library books, advertising and newspapers. “I view collage as poetry,” she says. “A process of layering and peeling away to unveil a narrative core.” Her work often features motifs of humans and nature but a closer look reveals an intentional complexity.” (Rigou et al., 2024, s.22)

“In my work, I explore the relationship between landscape and the human body,” she explains. “Using found photographic material like old National Geographic images, I create compositions that unveil hidden elements and offer fresh perspectives. This Process aligns with feminist ideals, challenging conventional narratives and highlighting the interconnectedness of landscape and identity”. (Rigou et al., 2024, s.23)
