Med politisk drivkraft och fascination för ytor, strukturer och material arbetar jag med både måleri, skulptur, textil, grafik, foto och text. Jag arbetar gärna närgånget med detaljer och kroppen är min fokuspunkt. Detaljer är på ett sätt abstrakta i dess form. En närbild av en kropp skiljer sig inte så mycket från en närbild av en bröd-deg. På nära håll ser de väldigt lika ut.

Som den loppisrotta jag är finner jag material och former secondhand. De skvallrar med historiska och tematiska referenser och bidrar till mitt arbete. Material, skisser, texter och ord ligger framme i min ateljé, nära till hands.

With political drive and fascination for surfaces, structures and materials, I work with both painting, sculpture, textiles, graphics, photography and text. I like to work closely with details and the body is my focal point. Details are kind of abstract in its form. A close-up of a body is not that different from a close-up of a bread-dough. Up close they look very similar.

As the «flea market rat» (Swedish expression, directly translated) that I am, I find materials and forms second hand. They tattle historic and thematic references and contribute to my work. Materials, sketches, texts and words are at the front of my studio, close at hand.
