Welcome to a guided tour at Rotvoll Kunstnerkollektiv on Friday, November 1st!

Get to know the house and some of the artists here. Rotvoll is also arranging a group exhibition at the first floor and an evening program in the Chapel.

Rotvoll Kunstnerkollektiv (RKK) is an interdisciplinary working community for professional artists in Trondheim, with the main emphasis on visual art, music and performing arts. The working community consists of both personal studios and common spaces, such as 2 project rooms/gallery for visual arts, 2 sound/ensemble rooms, 2 larger screening/concert rooms and a media lab. Following great demand for studios, RKK has expanded its premises in its fifth year of operation, and now consists of two buildings from the old asylum, idyllically situated by the Trondheimsfjord.

79 artists currently work at RKK, and a large number of guest artists and musicians are involved in RKK's exhibition and concert series Rotvoll Kunstscene and in the annual summer festival Kunstfest Rotvoll. The vision is that RKK will be a cultural hub, where professional actors in visual art, music and performing arts can together create good working conditions, new collaborations and at the same time open up the house for art dissemination to a wide Trondheim audience.
