Jeg arbeider med konstruksjon av skulptur og installasjon, hvor funne gjenstander er utgangspunkt og materiale. Jeg utforsker dynamikk, og skulptur med bevegelige element er en sentral del av mitt arbeide. Bevegelsen kan være fysisk, skapt av motor, gravitasjon, vann eller den er bare visuell. Materiale fra arbeidsprosessen ender noen ganger opp som selvstendige verk og vises som; tresnitt, foto, video eller artistbooks. Naturens kraft og jordens utallige kretsløp opptar meg og spesielt undersøkelse av vann. På en leken og humoristisk måte ønsker jeg å invitere publikum til refleksjon ved å synliggjøre sammenhenger mellom natur, teknologi og samfunn. / I work with construction of sculpture and installation, with found objects as starting point and material. I explore dynamics, and sculpture with moving elements is a central part of my work. The movement can be physical, created by motor, gravity, water, or it is just visual. Material from the work process sometimes ends up as independent works and is shown as, woodcut, photo, video, or artist books. The power of nature and the countless cycles of the earth occupy me, and especially the study of water. In a playful and humorous way, my aim is to invite the audience to reflect, by highlighting connections between nature, technology, and society.
