Om:

Anne Helga Henning (b. 1968) lives and works as a visual artist in Trondheim, Norway. She is educated at The Academy of Fine Arts in Trondheim. Since 2017 Henning has been involved in three public art assignments for schools and nursing homes, where she has based her work on participation from pupils / residents. In all these assignments, participation and meeting through artistic interventions consolidates a co -researcher platform which guides and inspires her in the final process in her artist’s studio. This fall she is working on a project for Nidarvoll Rehabiliteringssenter, a drawing project that is yet in progress. Hennings main source of media is drawing in a wide sense. In 2021 she exhibited drawings at Trondheim Kunstmuseum under «Kunstneres valg» where she repeatedly observed and drew Lars Tillers sculpture «Steinaledermannen». Together with Pål Bøyesen she also drew dogs and their owners at Marinen last summer as a part of Project 2021, a collaboration between Trondheim Kommune and NTNU. Henning is also employed in a 50% position as a associate professor in drawing at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, NTNU.
