About:

Cheonghye Sophia is an interdisciplinary artist based in Trondheim, working across installation, ceramics, textiles, sound and digital technologies. Her process-based and site-responsive practice often incorporates collected and found materials, exploring their embedded stories and changing connotations. Through making, these different fragments become entangled, forming non-linear narratives in which memory, material histories, and present encounters overlap and continue to unfold.

In my studio, there will be a hot mess of works in different stages of becoming—collected materials, experiments, tests and ongoing installations.
