Håvard Stamnes, født 1980, har sin utdannelse fra blant annet Arne Næss senter for økologi og filosofi, Kunstskolen i Bergen og Kunstakademiet i Trondheim, der han fullførte sin Mastergrad i Billedkunst 2012. Etter årene på akademiet driver Stamnes et kunstnerskap som kan kalles noe eklektisk, der han stadig er på leting etter fragmenter som kan passe sammen.Arbeidene kan da ende opp som tegninger, malerier, skulpturer, grafikk, video og til tider dikt.
Stamnes er medlem av Norske Billedkunstnere, Norske Grafikere, Landsforeningen Norske Malere og Trøndelag Bildende Kunstnere.

Håvard Stamnes, born 1980, has his education from, among others, the Arne Næss Center for Ecology and Philosophy, the Art School in Bergen and the Art Academy in Trondheim, where he completed his Master’s Degree in Visual Arts in 2012. After his years at the academy, Stamnes pursues an artistry that can be called somewhat eclectic, where he is constantly on the lookout for fragments that can fit together. The works can then end up as drawings, paintings, sculptures, graphics, video and sometimes poems.
Stamnes is a member of Norwegian Visual Artists, Norwegian Graphic Artists, the National Association of Norwegian Painters and Trøndelag Visual Artists.
