«Trondheim Open ble første gang gjennomført i 2011, og har siden da vært en feiring av regionens kunstscene og en møteplass for kunstnere, kunstaktører og publikum. Årets festival er den sjuende versjonen og kan oppleves fra 21. – 30. oktober 2022.
Our main activity is Open Studios, where professional artists throughout the county invite the public into their production space. The festival program also includes the Art Market, a panel discussion, artist talks, workshops and exhibitions.
The festival was initiated by a group of artists in Trondheim and is today managed by the trade unions Trøndelag Bildende Kunstnere (TBK) and Norske Kunsthåndverkere Midt-Norge (NKM). The purpose of Trondheim Open is to highlight and convey professional artistic activity in Trondheim and Trøndelag to a wide audience.
On the last weekend of the festival, Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th of October, the artists open their doors and welcome you in. Find out who is where on our websites in advance, or choose someone from the catalogue to visit. We do not require any prior knowledge!
